Bringing your dog to South County

Rhode Island's South County is made for dogs. Beyond the homes — nearly all of which welcome pets — there are trails and conservation walks, quiet off-season beach mornings, and plenty of dog-friendly patios in Narragansett, Wakefield, and Matunuck.

A heads-up worth knowing: Rhode Island's main state beaches (like Narragansett Town Beach and Scarborough) restrict dogs during peak summer hours, so spring, fall, and early-morning visits are the move for beach time with your pup. Ask us and we'll point you to the dog-friendly spots near your home.
